I was chatting with a friend about art tips and I've told a few people these things so gonna toss them out in the world for those who may be curious. Unsolicited art advice from the Nicky for getting out of your head regarding art. Hope this helps folks out some. Nicky's art philosophy (ignore or consider at will) 1. When you finish an art piece, it is in the past. It is over and behind you. Feel free to enjoy it if you like (hopefully you can and do, you earned it!) but it is DONE. It's not perfect and if you see flaws, that's in the past. Make a mental note to correct it next time. If you learn from a mistake in your art then that mistake
